About SPG
School Publishing Group (SPG) was founded in 2002 when a select group of education professionals brought together their vast knowledge as translators, content writers, editors, and project managers to create a company uniquely designed to provide the best materials in educational publishing. Together, the SPG management team has decades of experience in the K-12 educational publishing market. This includes a first-hand understanding of every school discipline, a deep comprehension of both national and state-specific standards, and an expertise in the growing area of digital publishing.
Our Literacy and Multilingual Learning Team
Our Literacy and Multilingual Learning staff are dedicated to helping curriculum developers, teachers, administrators, and districts to improve their professional practice for Multilingual Learners. We offer professional development courses and workshops, as well as consulting on Multilingual Learning program development.
Dr. Johanna Even leads our school and district services work. Dr. Even brings over 30 years of experience in K-12 education -as a bilingual teacher, literacy coach, principal, leadership coach, and district curriculum and instruction leader.
Her experience spans grades K-12 - district and charter schools - dual language, transitional bilingual and SEI immersion, and multiple states (California, Texas, Arizona, and New York).
